Over the years, Dr. Schlossberg’s work has been recognized by major art institutions and thus become a part of numerous private and public collections. His work has been collected both at major museums and academic collections in the United States and abroad. WORDSWORDSWORDS, 1968 has been exhibited all over the world. It incorporates over 20 pieces of multi-media works of Plexiglas, aluminum, paper and letterpress with its own metal case. It is now in the collections at the Art Institute of Chicago; Ivorypress Museum, Madrid, Spain; Museum of Modern Art in New York; New York Public Library; and the New Wight Museum at UCLA. Having Dr. Schlossberg’s artwork in public collections creates greater accessibility to his combination artistry and innovation, always pushing boundaries between art, poetry, and materials.
